Bill 160 - whats going on?

All the buzz lately amongst our clients has been about Bill 160 and everyone wants to know Whats Going On?

On June 1st, 2011 Royal Assent was given to Bill 160 and the Ministry of Labour is considering this to be the largest revamp of Ontario's worker safety system in 30 years.

Significant amendments have been made to Ontario's Health & safety Act as a result of the Tony Dean report and many of the amendments may come into force as of April 1st 2012 or a date to be set by the government.
