Due Diligence

Course Length - 4 Hours

As an employer or representative of the employer, failure to prove that you have taken every precaution reasonable on the circumstances for the protection of the worker can leave you open to liability such as monetary fines and jail time.

OSG's Due Diligence program will provide owners, managers and supervisors an understanding of how to manage occupational health and safety responsibilities and liabilities.

This course explores the elements of an effective health and safety management system and how owners, managers and supervisors can protect themselves from statutory violations.

The course studies and breaks down case examples and involves role playing exercises.

25. (2)(c) when appointing a supervisor, appoint a competent person;

(j) prepare and review at least annually a written occupational health and safety policy and develop and maintain a program to implement that policy;
