Advanced Industrial Ergonomics Training
Course Length - 8 Hours
Currently, Musculoskeletal Disorders and poor ergonomic positioning represents approximately half of the lost time claims in Ontario. Training individuals to recognize and assess ergonomic hazards will result in a greater opportunity to prevent injuries and costs related to ergonomics.
This course has been designed for management, joint health and safety committee members and health and safety representatives.
This program will provide participants with an advanced awareness on Musculoskeletal Disorders and recognizing and reducing ergonomic hazards . Participants will also gain a basic understanding of how to conduct a Physical Demands Analysis (PDA), which can aid in reducing lost time injuries at work.
