Confined Space Awareness Train the Trainer

Workers are killed or injured every year while working in or around confined spaces. It is estimated that 60% of all fatalities are would be rescuers.  

The legislation requires a competent person to conduct confined space training.

Our Confined Space program will provide individuals attending this course the information needed to become a competent instructor and understand how to convey the potentialhazards of working in confined spaces and the requirements necessary to control those hazards prior to entry.

Course Material:

Record of attendance, wallet card and wall certificate, 1 Trainer Manual, 1 Training DVD, 1 CD-ROM containing containing read only files for the powerpoint presentation, test and answers.  Sample certificates along with a course materials order form are also included.

119.7(1) every worker who enters a confined space or who performs related work shall be given adequate training for safe work practices for working in confined spaces and for performing related work, including training in the recognition of hazards associated with confined spaces.

119.7(2) the employer shall appoint a person with adequate knowledge, training and experience to conduct the training.

Duration: 8hrs
