Safe Operation of a Telehandler Lift Truck Train the Trainer
Telehandlers are a Class VII Rough Terrain Forklift typically used in construction environments. Competent instruction is a key component to achieving a desired result of zero incidents with this type of mobile equipment.
Current standards require that any individual teaching the course is familiar with lift truck applications, limitations and restrictions. Our program will teach participants how to facilitate their own class on how to recognize and control hazards associated with the equipment and the environment in which they are operated in as well as the safe operating principles and procedures of the equipment.
Our Safe Operation of a Telehandler program is designed in accordance with CSA B335-04 Safety Standard for Lift Trucks.
Instructors must also be competent operators. In order to receive a Certificate of Competency, the participant must achieve a passing grade on the written in-class test and the practical skills evaluation.
The practical skills evaluation is to be performed at the workers place of employment.

- Question and Answer
Course Material:
Record of attendance, wallet card and wall certificate, 1 Trainer Manual, 1 Training DVD, 1 CD-ROM containing containing read only files for the powerpoint presentation, test and answers. Sample certificates along with a course materials order form are also included.

(i) a competent person; or
(ii) a worker being instructed who is accompanied by a competent person
