Supervisor Safety Motivational Training

Course Length - 8 Hours

The success of any Health & Safety Program is largely determined by the effectiveness of its implementation and enforcement by supervisors. Emphasis will be placed on the ability to understand and apply legislation related to Health & Safety in the workplace, adult learning principles, and effective communication skills. Additionally, participants will learn how to evaluate the results achieved by subordinates, and how to identify and deal with difficult behaviors in the workplace.

The course is broken down into the following content modules:

Participant manual, test, record of attendance and wall certificate

Occupational Health and Safety Act ss. 25 (2)(c), 25 (2) (j)

25. (2)(c)when appointing a supervisor, appoint a competent person;

(j)prepare and review at least annually a written occupational health and safety policy and develop and maintain a program to implement that policy;
